HI-MACS is an extremely adaptable solid surface material, capable of being seamlessly crafted into virtually any size or 3-dimensional shape imaginable.
Based on its molecular structure, HI-MACS is a type of thermoplastic, that when heated, can be brought into a thermoelastic phase. Once heated, HI-MACS can then be transformed into limitless 2- and 3-dimensional objects, allowing for extraordinary designs and applications not possible with other surface materials. Thermoforming gives designers the freedom to create innovative solutions for almost any design scenario — from creating sculptural lighting installations to furniture that precisely contours the human body.
Engineered to be every bit as tough as it is flexible, HI-MACS has passed extensive impact tests. HI-MACS products are also stain- and scratch-resistant, making them ideal for high traffic areas. And because HI-MACS is nonporous, it’s completely self-sealing and resists harmful bacterial growth.LOW-MAINTENANCE
Because it’s nonporous, HI-MACS can be easily cleaned with basic soap and water to maintain its brilliance, as well as its hygienic properties. This means no waxing or sealant need be applied.

The HI-MACS Eden Plus collection has also been SCS certified for recycled content and, as a result, contributes to a higher LEED profile.
